Meals at Cécile's

 

On some mornings or nights and with advance notice, join the owner at her table for a convivial meal.

Meals are home cooked using seasonal, local and, organic ingredients when available. (  Slow Food  )

Herbs and veggies in season are harvested from the owner's garden

 

 

 

Planted in April: 200+ leeks, 200+ onions, red, savoy and white cabbages. Still 300 onions to go in! As well as potatoes!

Cheaper and more fun than the gym!

Sown: Spinach, Chervil, Lettuce

The herbs are coming back: sage, tarragon, chives, oregano, thyme,...

Companion planting garden grown without use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers.

Put away in 2008: peach jam, frozen blueberries, blueberry vinegar, shallot/tarragon/chervil red wine vinegar (for dressing or as base for bearnaise), green apple/green tomato chutney, raisins/red grape/yellow peach chutney, bourbon peach jam, peach in syrup, vanilla pineapple jam, apple sauce, tomato sauce and soup, pesto, pear plum jam, rhubarb plum jam, 4 red fruits jam, braided shallots, yellow and red onions, chartreuse, leeks, sambucca,...
